Smithereens (Violet-Stained)
A poem, by Samantha Montana
Counting on dandelions,
Each boon I’ve blown
To smithereens
With every wish
Made beneath
The starlit sky,
Back, reclined
In the grass
Gently tickling—
A limen tease
Sentimentally sinister,
Jeering me
Tenderly, hazily,
Knowing I seldom
Venture outside,
Dread of exposure
By streetlights,
Unravelling me
Under spotlights:
Mind and body
Violet-stained
In blue heaven
Delicacies,
Living in reveries
Maladaptive—
Disintegrated,
Forever floating
Just above,
The plane of reality

'Forever floating just above the plane of reality' so ethereal and dreamlike with a tinge of heartache and denial. Always love reading your work.
